Piggy Intercity Beginner Guide & Tips
Everything you need to know to start Piggy Intercity on Roblox — from your first quest to end-game content. Stat upgrade priority, survival tips, weapon progression, and common mistakes to avoid.
Getting Started in Piggy Intercity
Piggy Intercity is an open world survival RPG on Roblox where you explore a large Mainland map, fight Infected zombie enemies, complete quests, collect weapons and armor, manage hunger and thirst, and make story choices that determine your ending. The game launched on June 13, 2026, created by MiniToon.
When you first spawn in Piggy Intercity, you start with nothing. Your immediate priority is to find the first quest NPC near the spawn point and begin the main quest chain. The opening quests teach you movement, combat, and resource gathering while rewarding essential tools like the Axe, Pickaxe, and Pistol.
Piggy Intercity Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Follow this progression path for the most efficient start in Piggy Intercity.
Create Your Character
Customize your appearance in the Piggy Intercity character creator. All options are cosmetic — they do not affect stats or gameplay. Pick whatever looks cool and jump in.
Start the Main Quest
Find the quest giver NPC near the spawn area. Accept the first main quest to learn basic controls and receive the Axe (Tool) for chopping trees and the Pickaxe for mining stone.
Gather Wood and Stone
Use your new tools to chop trees and mine rocks in the starting Forest area. These materials are needed for base building later. Collect at least 20 wood and 10 stone before moving on.
Loot Every Green Chest
Green chests are scattered everywhere in Piggy Intercity. They contain food (Canned Beans), water, basic weapons, and supplies. Open every green chest you find — they respawn every 30 minutes.
Buy a Wrench
Visit Tilly's Shop or Debby's Shop and buy a Wrench for 15 coins (requires Level 3). This replaces the free Bar and is your first real weapon upgrade in Piggy Intercity.
Complete Side Quests
Explore the Mainland Hub and talk to NPCs with quest icons. Side quests reward extra coins, XP, and sometimes unique items. They are the fastest way to level up in the early game.
Upgrade to Crowbar
Once you hit Level 5, buy the Crowbar from a shop for 35 coins. It deals 19 damage and is the strongest weapon available from shops in Piggy Intercity. This weapon carries you through mid-game.
Explore New Zones
Push into the City, Mart, and Safety Island areas. Discovering new zones gives XP and unlocks fast travel points. Keep food and water stocked before venturing into unknown territory.
Hunt Red Chests
Red chests contain rare weapons like the Bat, Katana, and Sniper. They are found in the School, Police Office, and Oil Refinery areas. Red chests can only be opened once, so explore every corner.
Tackle End-Game Zones
The Oil Refinery is the hardest area with the strongest Infected but the best weapon drops. Equip armor and bring your best weapons before entering. This is where you find the Axe (30 damage) and other top-tier loot.
Piggy Intercity Best Stat Upgrade Order
You earn one stat point per level up in Piggy Intercity. Here is the optimal upgrade order based on early-game impact and survival priority.
Weight
Carry more items in inventory — Lets you hold more food and gear early on — most impactful first upgrade
Hotbar
More quick-access item slots — Equip weapons, food, and tools without opening inventory mid-combat
Thirst
Slower water drain rate — Thirst drains faster than hunger — upgrade this before hunger
Hunger
Slower food drain rate — Upgrade alongside thirst to reduce supply runs
Health
More HP for combat — Only matters in combat — early enemies are manageable without it
Collector
Earn more coins from quests — Money is easy to farm early, so low priority
Accuracy
Better ranged weapon precision — Only affects guns — lowest priority unless you focus on ranged combat
Piggy Intercity Survival Guide
Managing hunger and thirst is critical in Piggy Intercity. If either meter reaches zero, your health starts draining until you eat or drink.
Hunger Management
- • Eat Canned Beans to restore hunger meter
- • Find food in green chests across the Mainland
- • Buy food from shop vendors using coins
- • Upgrade Hunger stat to slow drain rate
- • Always carry 3+ food items when exploring
Thirst Management
- • Drink Water bottles to restore thirst meter
- • Thirst drains FASTER than hunger — prioritize water
- • Find water in green chests and shops
- • Upgrade Thirst stat before Hunger stat
- • Carry 5+ Water bottles for long exploration runs
Piggy Intercity Combat Tips
Combat in Piggy Intercity revolves around fighting the Infected — zombie NPCs scattered across the map. Here are key combat strategies to survive encounters:
- Stun-lock enemies — weapons with high stun values (Crowbar 0.7s, Axe 0.9s) interrupt Infected attacks, letting you chain hits safely
- Kite ranged enemies — some Infected carry weapons. Keep moving and use pillars or walls as cover while attacking between their swings
- Use guns for groups — when facing multiple Infected, switch to ranged weapons to thin the group before engaging in melee
- Block incoming attacks — Piggy Intercity has a block mechanic that reduces damage. Use it when you see an Infected winding up a heavy attack
- Heal between fights — eat food or drink water between Infected encounters to keep your health topped off
- Retreat if overwhelmed — there is no penalty for running away. If your health is low and you have no food, disengage and find a safe area to recover
Common Beginner Mistakes in Piggy Intercity
Mistake: Not starting the main quest immediately
Fix: The main quest gives you free tools (Axe, Pickaxe, Pistol) that you cannot buy early. Always start it first.
Mistake: Ignoring thirst meter
Fix: Thirst drains faster than hunger. New players often focus on food and die from dehydration. Carry extra water at all times.
Mistake: Putting stat points into Accuracy first
Fix: Accuracy only affects ranged weapons. Most early combat is melee. Follow the optimal order: Weight → Hotbar → Thirst → Hunger.
Mistake: Selling weapons to buy food
Fix: Keep all weapons — they are harder to replace than food. Farm green chests for food instead of selling gear.
Mistake: Rushing into the School or Oil Refinery
Fix: These zones have the toughest Infected. Get at least a Crowbar and some armor before exploring high-level areas.
Mistake: Ignoring green chests because they look common
Fix: Green chests respawn every 30 minutes and are your primary source of food, water, and basic supplies throughout the game.
